PANELLE RECIPE (for about 6 people)
Ingredients:
500 grams of chickpea flour – 1.5 liters of water – Salt and pepper – Sunflower or any flavorless vegetable oil – Parsley
Preparation
Mix cold water and chickpea flour in a pot. Slowly bring to a boil, stirring continuously with a wooden spoon to avoid lumps; add salt and pepper and continue to stir. When the mixture becomes creamy, add the chopped parsley, stir well and turn off the heat. Spread the mixture onto flat baking trays. Allow the chickpea batter to cool and set completely, then slice each sheet. Deep-fry in vegetable oil at 170°C until golden brown.
