In the historic centre of Palermo, the magnificent Palazzo Alliata di Villafranca is situated on the Bologni Square. The building was owned by Don Aloisio Beccadelli di Bologna in the 16th century and later, in the second – half of the 17th century, the Villafranca family erected their city residence.
Visiting the halls of the Palace is a journey back in time. You will discover the magnificence of the Palace, its furniture, stuccoes and earthenware. The Palace houses an art collection of considerable historical and artistic value and a painting collection that holds masterpieces by A.van Dyck and M.Stomer.
Palazzo Alliata di Villafranca is open to the public.
